Oh hello vegans of the greater Seattle area. Happy Friday to you! This month, Whole Foods is bringing you a very special the cooking course: a vegan baking class from none other than Sara Beth Russert of Mighty-O Donuts.
New to veganism? New to baking? Just want to impress your vegan friends with your baking prowress? Wondering about the best substitutions from your grandma’s recipe? Problem solved: for only $25 you can learn from one of the best bakers in town.
Sara will be teaching a vegan cookie recipe, her vegan cornbread recipe that was featured at the Seattle Vegan Chili Cook-Off, as well as covering standard and vegan baking techniques. Word on the street is that she’ll even include info on making the amazing tarts pictured below.
