I’m Christina, and I’m super excited to be guest posting on Vegan Score again – this time, about Generation Veggie, a new website and nonprofit, volunteer-run organization for vegan and vegetarian families! GenerationVeggie.org will offer a one-stop, community-oriented resource chock-full of support to help parents navigate all stages of their plant-powered kid’s life. The site will feature stories from real families, expert advice, great product recommendations, kid-approved recipes, discussion boards, and so much more!
We need your help to raise $5,000 to make GenerationVeggie.org a reality! Head on over to our Indiegogo fundraising page to learn all about the project. There are some great perks as well – for $30, we’ll answer your nutrition question or veganize a family recipe; for $50, we’ll send you the fun “Fur & Feathers” board game; for $100, you’ll get a $10 gift card from a grab bag of several generous retailers like BunnieCakes.com, HerbivoreClothing.com, SweetFreedomBakery.com, and VeganEssentials.com. You may also receive a Vegan Cuts Snack Box or Dr. Bronner’s Gift Set! Two lucky donors at the $250 level will receive a box of delicious vegan chocolates from Sjaak’s Organic Chocolates!
Would you like to help us make Generation Veggie a leading resource in the vegan and vegetarian community? Here are some things you can do:
- Donate! We have 15 days left to meet our $5,000 goal. Any level of support you can offer will help bring Generation Veggie to life!
- Share! We need your help to reach as many people as possible – help spread the word about the campaign, like and share our Facebook page, and follow us on Twitter @genveggie!
- Create! If you are a writer, graphic designer, photographer, videographer, or otherwise creative person with skills you’d like to share, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to help us build content for the site.
If you have any questions about our plans, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line – you can reach the inspiring (and completely volunteer!) group of parents behind Generation Veggie at email@example.com. With help from our strong vegan and vegetarian community, we can do even more to support families raising veggie kids!
