I love all of the home-based businesses (also known as normal life) that have been springing up. Most recently Sam’s Plant-Based Kitchen and now Unbaked by Danielle, a raw vegan dessert company hand delivering gourmet raw desserts to Seattle area folks.
Owner and creator, Danielle was trained in raw cuisine in NYC where she also worked as the raw pastry chef at Pure Food and Wine*. In Seattle now, she is making her goods available to the public via direct-order. Yes, sometimes raw desserts can break the bank (cashews!), but they are also freezable so you don’t have to eat them all at once, they are super rich so you don’t need much, and they are fancy enough to thoroughly impress anyone in your life, vegan or not.
